I love wearing graphic tees to the parks, as I’ve mentioned before. I’ve especially grown to love crossover tees, featuring two or more characters/movies/fandoms in one shirt. Crossover tees featuring something from the Disney Universe and the Universal Universe are especially cool because it’s a nuance you rarely see. Crossover memorabilia always reminds me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Featuring Looney Tunes and Disney characters, the film is arguable the first feature-length crossover movie with widespread popularity.
Check out these unique tees below. P.S. – They’re all $20 or less
HURRY — The price is for today only.
Crossover: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (Disney) and the Minions/Despicable Me (Universal)
Crossover: Toy Story (Disney/Pixar) and Jurassic Park (Universal)
Related Attractions: Toy Story Midway Mania (Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s California Adventure) and Jurassic Park River Adventure (Universal Orlando)/Jurassic Park the Ride (Universal Studios Hollywood)
Crossover: The Haunted Mansion (Disney) and Ghostbusters (Theme park rights may still belong to Universal, though the film rights belong to Sony)
Related Attractions: The Haunted Mansion (Disneyland) — Only the Disneyland location currently features the Hatbox Ghost. Unfortunately there is no current Ghostbusters attraction at Universal. There used to be an awesome Ghostbusters show at Universal Orlando, since replaced by Twister: Ride it Out. With the upcoming new Ghostbusters movie, if Universal truly still has the theme park rights to Ghostbusters (there are conflicting reports), it could become a more relevant attraction. It could at least be a fun addition to Halloween Horror Nights.
Crossover: Star Wars (Disney) and E.T. (Universal)
Crossover: The Haunted Mansion (Disney) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Nickelodeon – Partnership with Universal)
Related Attractions:The Haunted Mansion (Magic Kingdom, Disneyland). There is currently no Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles attraction or any Nickelodeon attraction at Universal. You can purchase Nickelodeon merchandise and see Nickelodeon characters, such as Spongebob Squarepants, in the parks. You can meet the turtles at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Florida, where you can combine your stay with theme park packages at Legoland, SeaWorld and Universal Orlando. Once upon a time, you could meet the turtles at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, turtle van and all!
If I’m wearing a tee at a theme park (and many times, I am), it is almost a requirement that the T-shirt represent the park I’m visiting. Character tees can be pricey at the parks and shops like Urban Outfitters, so the glorious Internet is the place to go for cheap — yet original — park tees (and other things too, I guess).
Below I’ve created a list of perfect shirts for your next Universal Orlando trip — no Express pass needed. But, for most of these deals, you have to act fast.

My husband and I are new homeowners, and I’ve enjoyed adding theme park decor around my house. Here are some of my favorites.
My husband gave me this Ariel mug for Christmas; she’s one of my favorite princesses. I love sipping my morning coffee from it. Plus, it’s less than $10. I was surprised he found it at Spencer’s of all places, but they have some unique, affordable Disney items.
I’ve had my hanging Hedwig since approximately 2001. I’m pretty sure I got it for Christmas following the first Harry Potter movie. I remember my parents searched many Hallmark’s to find it, and I could never part with it. I found one on Amazon for less than $50. #RIPHedwig
My mom gave me this WDW Magazine calendar for Christmas. The calendar features beautiful photos from around the parks, and it’s only $19.95. Park tips are included for every month, as well as reminders about seasonal events. I’m also happy to have beautiful, professional photos of the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Sorcerer’s Hat, as it is currently being removed.
We love super heroes, and we love roller coasters. This vintage-style Superman poster in our hallway reminds me of one of my favorite coasters, Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Over Georgia. We picked this piece up at Kirkland’s. It’s on sale, but currently unavailable online.
Do you have any theme park decor in your house? I’d love to know about it!
You can ring in the new year club style and theme park style at Universal Orlando. Universal’s CityWalk boasts a NYE bash every year, featuring party zones, music, and a champagne toast. Tickets are for ages 21 and up and are $129.99 (not included in park admission). If you opt to bring in the new year at a theme park, Universal Studios is open until 12:30 a.m. Whatever path you choose, this Harry Potter-inspired outfit will turn heads as you welcome 2015.
